WHAT IS ESC ?
Education Service Contracting (ESC) is a government financial assistance program which entitles qualified grantees to annual financial assistance throughout junior high school and senior high school provided that they meet the requirements for regular promotion in each grade level.
As an ESC-participating school, Good Shepherd Cathedral School extends tuition subsidy to qualified students who will receive Php 13,000 annually from Grade 7 to Grade 10. This subsidy will increase to Php 18,000 when they reach Grades 11 and 12. Note that application for ESC subsidy is exclusive to incoming Grade 7 learners for School Year 2026 – 2027
APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
1) Download, print, and accomplish the ESC Application Form which can be accessed on this link:
2) Place the accomplished ESC Application Form, together with the required documents listed below, in a long brown envelope and submit to the Office of the School Secretary (look for Ms. Lorena Aznar):
a. Copy of PSA-authenticated Birth Certificate
b. Photocopy of Grade 6 Report Card with complete grades
c. 2 copies of 2x2 photo in white background
d. If parents are employed or business owners, copy of latest income tax return or certificate of employment with compensation. If unemployed, municipal certification of unemployment or affidavit of non-filing of income tax return.
3) Application is from April 24 to June 30, 2026. Applications with incomplete requirements will not be processed.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS :
1) Application for the ESC is available only during Grade 7. Once approved, the subsidy will continue through the succeeding grade levels. This is a one-time application only, and there is no need to reapply in the following years.
2) Application is subject to processing and approval. If the application is approved and the tuition fee has already been paid in full, the subsidy will be credited and added to the subsidy to be received in Grade 8.
